Our Philosophy


1st Valley Credit Union takes its role as a true community credit union to mean much more than just serving its members. In keeping with its "Community Minded" philosophy 1st Valley Credit Union strives to promote greater public awareness of and involvement with local organizations with three main principles.
  1. By encouraging its members, staff and board to volunteer and take part in the programs and events that make our community a great place to live.
  2. By promoting recognition of outstanding community volunteers by sponsoring an annual Community Minded Service Award.
  3. By working with local organizations to promote financial literacy especially among youth.
